Come join us for this week of amazing and educational events designed to bring our community and The LBGTQ community together!
We hope to see everyone out celebrating acceptance, diversity, individualism, and most importantly everyone’s right to be loved and to love, no matter sexual orientation or gender!September 18-23rd, 2017!!??
The exciting events are happening starting Monday!!!
?Monday, 18th – Proclamation Signing, @ Port aux Basques Town Hall, @ 11:45 am
?Tuesday, 19th – FREE Educational Webinar: Bruce II, from 3:00-5:00 pm
speakers include:
- Prof. Ailsa Craig, Memorial University, Sociology
- Kyle Janes, LBGTQ Educational Advocate
- Taylor Stocks, former President St. John’s Pride
- Mark Day, Canadian Idol Finalist and LBGTQ Educational Advocate
?Wednesday, 20th – Rec House Movie Night, ages 12-18: Rec House, (Movie to be announced) From: 6-9 pm
?Friday, 22nd – FREE Pride Bonfire: First Beach, Grand Bay West: From: 7 pm-11 pm (Please bring some wood)
?Saturday 23rd – Pride Parade and Flag Ceremony at Andy’s Rainbow Park: 12-3 pm Will begin at Scott’s Cove ending at Andy’s Rainbow Park. **If it’s raining, event will be moved to Sunday**
